We got a call from the just-launched NBC Sports Network to help them knock out a branding assignment for a new boxing series that was to debut on their network in four weeks time.
We began by developing a logo - one that fit the mold of the NBC Sports aesthetic, while simultaneously resonating "Boxing," a sport that was recently uncommon to the NBC family of networks. From there, we developed a hard-hitting network package suitable for this new brand. In the flagship show open, the dynamic camera moves through the ropes and the ring, finding powerful moments from related matches. We further developed a CG crowd simulation and volumetric lighting that really brought fans into the arena for the main event.
